Advertiser Disclosure

How we make money — in plain language.

We believe you should know exactly how we’re funded before you trust our comparisons.

In short: Polar Expert currently has no compensation or affiliate relationship with Quark Expeditions, Poseidon Expeditions, Lindblad, Hurtigruten, Aurora Expeditions, or any other operator covered on this site. Every comparison, score, and recommendation is produced independently, per our Editorial Policy.

If a Referral Relationship Is Added in the Future

Should Polar Expert ever enter a referral relationship with an operator — for example, receiving a fee if a reader books after clicking a link on this site — that relationship will be disclosed on this page before it takes effect, and it will not determine which operators we cover, the specifications we publish, or our written pros/cons.

What a Referral Relationship Would Not Affect

Any future referral relationship would not change the figures we publish or how we score operators. Every figure is sourced per our Editorial Policy and scored per our Methodology, independent of any compensation arrangement.

All Operators, Same Standard

Every operator we cover — whether or not we ever have a financial relationship with them — is held to the same research and scoring standard.
